CNA's Risk Management Services provide tools to help manage employment related risk. We offer consulting advice at no cost, through Jackson Lewis, a national law firm that specializes in employment practices law.  We also offer discounted employee handbooks, employment applications, and Employment-At-Will statements through FPHR Consulting, plus numerous articles, booklets and services through Fisher & Phillips LLP*, a prominent labor and employment law firm. We are pleased to provide the following risk management tools to help you and your management team reduce your exposure to costly employment litigation and claims.

H.R. Consulting Advice at No Additional Cost

Eligible CNA Insureds can receive CONSULTING ADVICE through the H.R. Help Line provided by Jackson Lewis, a national law firm that specializes in employment practices law and preventing loss and litigation from workplace risk. Simply have your human resource representative call the toll-free Help Line at 1-888-CNAEPL1 (1-888-262-3751), identify themself as a CNA Insured and provide their Employment Practices Liability policy number. The Help Line is serviced by attorneys who do not act as legal counsel to callers, but rather as human resource consultants.

Online Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response Courses available through H.R. Web Training

H.R. Web Training provides an interactive, web-based tool that helps CNA insureds learn to develop state-of-the-art employment practices and procedures.  The system features a menu of training and best practices tools designed to empower organizations in their efforts to properly manage their workplace and minimize incidents and litigation.

This new service may be of particular value to insureds in states where the law requires employers to provide a minimum amount of sexual harassment prevention training to all supervisors and managers.  H.R. Web Training has been designed to assist businesses in meeting the standards required by their state laws by providing training in an interactive web based format, combined with the capability to track employee participation through an easy to use online tool.

This service, along with human resource consulting advice via the H.R. Help Line, is available to all CNA insureds that have Employment Practices Liability coverage.

An Employment Practices Audit is an effective risk assessment tool because it may help you decide whether your current coverage and internal procedures are where you want them to be. If you would like to have an audit performed on your existing policies and procedures, simply complete an Employment Practices Audit form and submit it to Fisher & Phillips LLP. For CNA insureds and applicants, this service will be provided by the firm on an hourly fee basis discounted by 10%.
